Before Matt left we were able to get his mom, dad and brother out to our house to spend christmas with the family. Kayleigh got a BIG SURPRISE from santa on christmas eve. We finished our last week week of christmas vacation with Matt and friends in Reno taking the kids skiing and hanging out at circus circus. Kayleigh even learned how to skate at the roller rink.
Matt left on Jan.2,2010 and will spend the next two mo. going to school before he leaves in April for Iraq. We are still able to keep in contact with him over the phone for now. We are missing him lots already and hope the year will go by quickly. I will try to keep everyone posted as much as possible.

Fultz Family est.1993
Matt and I met back when we were just in H.S. I guess you could call us H.S. sweethearts since we have been together since. We kind of did things a little backwards in how we started our family.
We had our first child Derrick on May 6,1993. On Oct27,1996 Matt and I married. He had already joined the Army as a Military Police Officer so off to bootcamp he went on Oct29,1996.
Since, we have welcomed an addittion to our family our daughter Kayleigh, born on June 11,2003. What an age gap. I never thought it would be that big of a deal but boy was I wrong. She is definitley a wild one and they both keep Matt and I on our toes.
Matt did eventually get out of the active side of the Army and decided to just be in the reserves. He then moved on to work for the Union Pacific Railroad. Currently he is Sr.MTO of Elko,Neveda. Matt's job with the R.R. has taken us to a few different places. We have lived in Nebraska, Utah, and now Neveda. Throughout our travels we have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people who have become some of our closest friends.
Matt will now be taking another journey and we will yet be making another move. That is why I have decided to do this. Matt has just been called for his first deployment. He is scheduled to leave Jan 4,2010. We have been fortunate that he has not gone before this. During this time we have had the support of our family and friends. I will do my best to keep everyone updated on what is going on with Matt's deployment and our family over the next 18mo.
Photos to come. I am still learning how to post them:)
